Just finished an theApproach bootcamp. I have not taken any other seduction courses, so I might not have the baseline, but theApproach is fantastic and worth every penny of their fee.

Boston-based theApproach is local to me which certainly makes it more convenient, but I would have chosen them anyway based on their (Sebastian's and Vincent's) posts and on the fact that they are both masters of the day game (which is what I am after).

I spent a good part of the first day (Friday) getting a fashion makeover. Usually it is done by Vincent himself, but I was in for a treat - a consultation by a theApproach fashion consultant, an exceptionally stylish Asian-American businesswoman in her early 30's. Besides helping me choose a couple of different (slightly peacocked) outfits, she shared with us woman's perspective on pickup and seduction, as well as her hair stylist's phone number.

After she left, Vincent talked to me about my goals in general and about the workshop goals in particular. He talked about direct vs. indirect approach, about the advantages of 'natural game' (see his post in advanced) etc. He explained to me the mindset behind doing direct openers. He also looked at my body language and made some suggestions on improving it.We broke a bit early, so that I could get back to my office, and finish my work week.

For the second day (Saturday), I met Vincent in the same upscale mall that we were in on Friday. It was 9 am and mall just started filling up. Vincent made me do some openings (I ended up @closing a Moroccan woman), then run me through some very useful exercises designed to improve my conversation skills. Then on to some more openers, a very eager Guatemalan woman with very little English, but I am not attracted and eject. We go to a bookstore inside the mall, some more openers, I eject quickly for the most part, but Vincent opens a 18-yr old Colombian girl. She is sppoked a bit and wants to leave, but Vincent calms her down, follows her out of the store and ends up #closing her. By that time it is almost noon, we eat early lunch and I am handed over to Sebastian.

Here the fun starts. I have to tell you that Sebastian probably the most amazing guy I met in my life. He is a juggler, an acrobate, a puppeteer of pickup. He has girls dancing on his string. He is also a born instructor who really enjoys teaching and is absolutely great at it.

He starts with looking at my body language, and making further corrections. Then he pushes me very hard to do openers, one after another after another. He tells me to approach walking women and tell them that they are sexy and beautiful. He gently criticizes my command presence and gives demonstrations. He brings me to an upscale department store, tells me to find a woman I consider beautiful and try to get as far as I could with her.

I find a very good-looking mulatto woman at a makeup counter and open her. She seems very eager, and I end up having an insta-date with her at a coffee shop inside the mall. She had to go to a wedding that night, so same day lay is impossible. I #close her to meet later.

Back with Sebastian, we had outside to main shopping/walking street in Boston. Sebastian demonstrates opening lone wolfs and sets on the street, in easygoing and fun manner(they all love him and eat his stuff up, he touches and hi-fives all of them etc.), makes me open some sets too. He makes me open women on the street who are talking on a cell phone.

Back in the mall at a cafe, opening women sitting at tables. Dimitry demonstrates the technique. I sit at a table with a very pretty 20 yr old blond girl and open her on the book she is reading then strike up a conversation about Native American culture, but unable to transition to a more exciting topics and end up ejecting. A bit dissed at myself.

A couple of more openers with not much happening. I see a young girl with a great smile and energy, think of opening, but Sebastian opens her first. He engages her, she clams up a couple of times, but he handles her very well, gets her relaxed and laughing, #closes. Nice girl, nice job.

Sebastian reviews my strenths and weaknesses and we rt for the day.

Day three (Sunday). Meeting Sebastian at noon, same mall. This time there seems to be a shortage of attractive targets. I find a 5-set of Japanese tourist girl. We follow them into women's closing store, and I open the cutest one (she also seems to be the leader). She seems to be very eager, but speaks no English. Sebastian helps me handling the set. Up close J-girl is not that great (bad facial skin), so I eject.

Going in circles, no good targets. Back into a bookstore, I find a woman in sharp-looking orange pants, not a great face, but very nice body and nice energy. I open her, engage and stay in. She is a Brazilian, we seem to have a nice convo, and she seems into me, but I stay too long and miss the time for venue change. Says she has to leave, I try to close, she tells me she has a BF. I get a vibe she does not. One down. Sebastian reviews my performance.

Out of bookstore. A girl sits on a bench on the opposite side of a walkway, looks not very approachable. Sebastian pushes me to get her, I walk up and open direct: I was passing by and find you very sexy, with great style. What are you up to today? She lights up, gives me a great smile, opens up. She seems to be very relaxed, we strike up a nice convo. She is quality girl, 22 yrs. old, Ivy graduate, starts law school in September. Very beautiful, 10 body, 9.5 face. Very friendly, I end up getting her email, and giving my #, but she would not give me hers.

We walk outside. On steps I notice a 2-set of black girls sitting, one of them cute. I open the cute one on her hat, start the convo. She is very sweet, just graduated college, going for Masters in September. She seems a bit intimidated by me, keeps giggling nervously. I do most of the talking. Sebastian steps in to disarm the UG friend. I end up @closing after 30 minutes (she also would not give phone # though).

By this time it is almost 4pm. Sebastian asks for questions, reviews my performance over the course of workshop and we say goodbye. I feel that the two of us have a great vibe going, but then Sebastian is the master at creating the vibe..lol

I came away with a great feeling - I expected to be blown out a lot, have women turn their backs etc. NOTHING like that. Instead, I got lots of thank you's, grateful smiles, and even one 'you made my day'. Turns out women LOVE being approached. The 80% of my apprehension to approach has evaporated. I feel very empowered, feel I could now approach the most beautiful woman in a public place, and, at worst get a grateful smile from her. Have to work at my weak points though (command presence and vibing).
